In this occasion, we got the assignment to renovate an apartment in Barceloneta quartier, next to the sea in Barcelona. The flat is a very small house with less than 50m2. The client wanted to maintain 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open-plan kitchen. Making the most of the space and recovering the original construction systems, are the highlights of this project. We demolished all the walls and opened a new door on a bearing wall. Whit these actions we got the chance to create a compact layout, with the minimum circulation space. The result is a tiny but comfortable nest, a refuge in this busy neighborhood.
