The assignment was to deliver a complete renovation of an apartment in Carrer Balmes in Eixample district of Barcelona. The flat is located in the 5th floor of a classic early XX century building. This floor and the one in top of it, is an addition built in 1972, therefore, the apartment doesn’t have any classy character details. 

The project had the aim of adding this missing classical design to the flat. We slightly change the layout, by reorganizing the bathrooms to give an ensuite to the master bedroom and extend the kitchen. The design groups the bedrooms to the silent part and the daytime rooms to the noisy one.

All the new finishes are in black and white with a classic implementation, achieving the classy style asked by the client, an art historian.
